What moves us

In 2021, International Women’s Day celebrates its 110th anniversary. A lot has happened in the last hundred years and yet it is a fact that if we continue to advance at this pace, the gender pay gap will only be closed in 216 years.

It becomes even clearer when you take a close look at the management floors of the top 100 companies in Germany. Although just as many women as men have been studying business administration since 1998, the proportion of women in upper management positions is just around 9% (as of 2018).

It is questionable whether we, as a small company, will eliminate these shortcomings. But we can optimally prepare all of our candidates for the interviews. Let them recognize their worth and show them how to confidently represent it in an interview.

We can convince our clients of the added value of diverse management teams and develop a strategy for a sustainable future together with them by increasing their performance through diversity and focusing on qualifications and excellence.

And we can network with each other and create change through these connections!

I have been at home in international executive search for over 20 years and founded my own personnel consultancy in 2009, which I have successfully managed ever since. In 2021 I decided to expand our offer and established HER Talents to offer specific consulting services for women’s careers.

As an entrepreneur and mother of two grown children, I know from my own experience the challenges and problems that women have to face in their professional lives.

During my 25 years in executive search, I have accompanied and advised numerous candidates on their next step up the career ladder.

I was able to observe how their attitude has changed in the last 20 years and how much more self-confidence and self-image young women start their careers with today.

But even today I keep registering similar behavioral patterns that we women have trained ourselves to have, but which unfortunately are often counterproductive in our careers. This is where I come in and support my candidates as a sparring partner.
